Lesson 7: Create a water reflection using Photoshop CC – graphic design lesson

In this Photoshop CC photo effects tutorial, we’re going to learn how to easily add a water-like reflection to any photo. It’s a very easy effect to create and you can add it to any photo you like; your students will use layers, the transform functions, filters, and change the opacity.

This tutorial works with Photoshop CC! Many samples are included in the PDF and zip file so your students can get some inspiration for an image of their own. The download of this file includes a 4 page PDF file and the image of a red tree to follow the lesson along step-by-step. The lesson should not take more than 30 minutes to complete. After practicing with the class then I have them choose an image of their own so they practice a second time following the instructions individually. You can easily get an hour’s worth of work with this lesson.
